MARSHFIELD, WI — Prevail Bank will host a community bake sale next week to raise funds for the local Boys and Girls Club, organizers said.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., beginning when the bank’s lobby opens. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the Boys and Girls Club, which recently established a presence in Marshfield and is preparing to move into a new facility, though its location has not yet been announced.
Bank employees will provide homemade baked goods for the sale, part of a twice-yearly fundraising effort by the branch. Organizers said the event typically raises between $900 and $1,000 for local organizations.
Funds collected will help support the Boys and Girls Club’s programs and supplies, according to event organizers.
In addition to purchasing baked goods, community members will have the option to make direct donations at the event. Organizers noted that some residents choose to contribute financially instead of buying sweets.
The bake sale is open to the public.
